Job summary

Sander in Brussels is seeking a Senior Pension Actuary to lead client engagements on pension funds, employee benefits, and life insurance. You will manage a portfolio of Belgian and international clients, providing actuarial advice and strategic project work.

You will combine technical actuarial expertise with strong client management, ALM studies, and pension plan design. Hybrid work, attractive bonuses, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science is required.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience in pensions/employee benefits or life insurance.
• Knowledge of Belgian pension schemes and supplementary pensions.
• IFRS / IAS pension accounting knowledge is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial valuations, pension calculations and funding analyses.
• Analyse pension plans and retirement benefits.
• Prepare technical and actuarial reports.
• Assess the impact of changes to pension plans and legislation.
• Perform accounting calculations and reporting under IFRS / IAS.
