Job summary

Sander Brussels is seeking an experienced Actuary Pension Funds & Employee Benefits to join its Brussels team. You will manage a portfolio of pension fund and corporate clients, providing actuarial valuations, funding advice and strategic guidance on regulatory developments.

You will work closely with clients and internal teams, translating complex analyses into practical recommendations while maintaining strong relationships and delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent quantitative field.
• 6–10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within pension funds, Employee Benefits, actuarial consulting or Life insurance.
• Strong understanding of Belgian pension schemes and actuarial principles; experience with IFRS/IAS, funding, ALM, pension plan design and regulatory developments.
• Fluent in Dutch with a good professional knowledge of French; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Actuarial management & Pension Funds: manage a portfolio of pension fund and corporate clients, valuations, funding monitoring and actuarial advice.
• Pension & Strategic Advisory: advise on funding plans, SIPs, ALM, continuity testing and reinsurance.
• Client Relationship Management: act as a trusted point of contact, develop long-term relationships and present analyses clearly.
• Quality, Analysis & Continuous Improvement: review actuarial processes, improve efficiency, share best practices, and contribute to projects.
