YER Belgium is sourcing an experienced Operational Excellence Coach for a leading international healthcare client. You will embed Lean, continuous improvement, and root‑cause problem‑solving across EMEA, coaching teams and leaders in real‑life operations.

You will work on-site approximately three days per week, with greater presence during the initial phase, and you will translate Lean principles into sustainable daily practices at all levels of the organisation.

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years in Lean, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
• Experience coaching senior leaders in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

On behalf of our client, a leading international healthcare company, we are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Coach to help embed continuous improvement, operational excellence, and root‑cause problem‑solving across EMEA. Working alongside teams and leaders in real‑life operational settings, this role will focus on embedding the right behaviours, providing hands‑on coaching, and translating Lean and Improvement principles into sustainable daily practices at every level of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach teams directly in their operational environment, helping them apply Lean methodologies and structured problem‑solving techniques to real business challenges
• Support the rollout of Continuous Improvement rhythms and methodologies, helping teams translate theoretical training into practical, everyday application
• Embed a continuous improvement and root‑cause mindset across all levels of the organisation
• Maintain a visible and active presence within teams, coaching and guiding employees as they adopt Lean practices
• Collaborate with leaders to drive the cultural shift towards operational excellence

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in Lean, operational excellence, or continuous improvement, including substantial experience coaching teams and senior leaders in a complex, matrixed corporate environment
• Experience in a distribution or logistics environment is highly desirable
• Strong expertise in Lean methodologies, preferably with a Black Belt certification
• Ability to work on‑site with teams for approximately three days per week on average, with greater availability during the initial phase of the assignment
• Fluent in both Dutch and English
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and motivate teams
• Demonstrated commitment to building sustainable continuous improvement capabilities and behaviours across the organisation
