Tractebel is seeking a senior Licensing Studies engineer to join the CFD & Accident studies Group within the Nuclear and Industrial Safety department. You will perform licensing studies and thermalhydraulic analyses for nuclear reactor systems using RELAP5, ATHLET, and CATHARE.

You will work in a team of about 20 engineers, defend your work to customers and safety authorities, and produce technical reports.

Qualifications

• Master level in engineering or physics with a focus on nuclear safety.
• Experience analysing Design Basis Accidents in a regulated setting.
• Knowledge of Belgian nuclear domain and safety standards.
• Ability to communicate in English and French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Perform Licensing Studies for nuclear projects.
• Conduct complex thermalhydraulic analyses using standard tools.
• Defend work to customers and safety authorities.
• Write technical reports and work with a team of engineers.
