Job summary

Sisk Group seeks a Senior Engineer to lead the Life Science Team’s engineering function in Belgium. The role is the senior representative, coordinating with the line manager and providing engineering leadership for projects. It sets strategy for engineering, onsite control, and ensures QA, records, and quality procedures are maintained.

Temporary works control and lifting operations may also be required. We value extensive civil engineering experience, strong communication, and proactive risk

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of underground services and risk control procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with digital information systems (A-Site, Viewpoint for Projects).
• Significant experience in the design management process.
• Broad exposure to Piling, Geotechnical, Substructures (including Waterproofing).

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate with line manager and provide Engineering Leadership for projects.
• Ensure QA, record keeping and production; maintain Sisk Quality procedures and requirements.
• Manage Temporary Works Control/Co-ordination and oversee lifting operations where required.
• Review and close out Non-Conformance reports and ensure cost of defects is managed.
• Review risk assessments and method statements as needed.
• Identify missing information and manage RFIs effectively.
