Deloitte Belgium seeks an (Senior) Manager for Performance Improvement & Restructuring to guide C‑level discussions, drive value creation, and lead multidisciplinary teams on complex M&A projects. You will shape client strategies, coordinate analyses, and develop innovative service offerings to deliver tangible results.

(Senior) Manager Performance Improvement & Restructuring – you will support clients in their M&A endeavors. You will advise medium to large corporations and investors at C‑Level with the development and implementation of their growth or value creation strategy.

Subject areas

You will work on topics such as:

• Independent Business Reviews, including implementation of financial and operational turnaround solutions.
• Cash‑flow and working capital optimization
• Cost reduction and performance improvement programs
• Distressed M&A transactions
• Operational and commercial due diligences
• Synergy analysis and carve‑outs

What will you do

• Lead discussions and interviews with management, and collaborate with industry experts.
• Analyze complex financial, operational and market data to derive key conclusions and present them simply.
• Manage a team to build factbooks and facilitate data‑driven discussions.
• Maintain a holistic view of deliverables and communicate the story line visually and straightforwardly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience within financial/strategy consulting, performance improvement/cost reduction or corporate finance management.
• Preferably experience or exposure to M&A or strong passion for M&A.
• MBA or Master’s degree in engineering, business or economics.
• Proven record of team and project management.
• Highly developed financial, business and commercial skills.
• Clear communication to multiple stakeholders.
• Ambition to develop a growing team.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
