Deloitte Belgium is seeking an (Senior) Manager to lead M&A Transaction Services engagements, offering financial due diligence, carve-out support, and business modeling. You will guide a team of M&A professionals, coordinate multi-disciplinary streams, and drive opportunities with clients across markets.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in M&A or financial due diligence, a Master’s in finance or economics, and fluency in Dutch, French, and English.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as an auditor, financial analyst, or M&A/financial due diligence specialist.
• Master’s degree in finance or economics; CFA status is an asset.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English with strong writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams and functions.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Strong coaching skills and experience in managing people.

Responsabilités

• Lead projects advising clients in complex M&A transactions, including due diligence, carve-out support, and SPA advice.
• Be the first client contact, manage the M&A team and coordinate work streams with Deloitte experts.
• Contribute to business development and work on large cross-border deals as well as mid-market transactions.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse range of clients from corporate entities to private equity.

As (Senior) Manager in our M&A Transaction Services group you support clients with financial advice during M&A or transformation projects, including financial due diligence assignments, carve-out preparation, business plan reviews, valuations & business modeling, SPA advice, M&A strategy as well as financial support in other corporate finance matters. Your primary focus will be to provide M&A support to our clients, working closely with a team of experienced M&A professionals with exposure to a wide range of clients. In addition, you have an important role to play in our business development opportunities.

• You are in charge of projects to advise and support clients in complex M&A transactions with services ranging from financial due diligence, sell side vendor assistance & due diligence, business plan reviews, carve-out support, SPA advice and negotiations, synergy identification, and other M&A support services.
• You are the first contact towards the client, manage your team of M&A professionals and coordinate the work streams of other Deloitte expert teams.
• You will be active on large cross border deals as well as mid-market transactions.
• You play an important role in our business development opportunities.
• You work closely together with a team of experienced M&A professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of clients both corporate as well as private equity.

Let’s talk about you

• You have at least 5 years of experience as an auditor, a financial analyst or a specialist in M&A and/or financial due diligence.
• You are passionate about M&A and eager to make an impact that matters for our clients on the deals that shape our market.
• In this role as a Manager keywords are autonomy, ownership and entrepreneurship.
• You have a Master’s degree in finance or economics. Being enrolled in or having completed the CFA program is an asset.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French and English and have solid writing and presentation skills.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of business.
• You have the ability to communicate clearly, persuade and influence.
• You have a proactive approach and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliability.
• You have the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• You have excellent coaching skills and experience in managing people.
• You have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
