Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Beerse is seeking a strategic and operational leader to head Compound Logistics, overseeing inventory, storage, distribution, and fulfillment across the global R&D network. The role requires a track record of managing large teams and delivering scalable, compliant services in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in compound logistics, sample management, laboratory automation, scientific operations, supply chain, or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Compound Logistics capability in Beerse, ensuring reliable compound inventory, storage, distribution, and fulfillment across the global R&D network.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, digital technologies, analytics, and process optimization to improve productivity, quality, scalability, and customer experience.
• Build strong partnerships across Biology, Chemistry, Screening, Informatics, Procurement, and external collaborators to align operations with evolving discovery priorities.
• Develop, and lead a high-performing team while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable culture grounded in safety, quality, and innovation.
