Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a strategic and operational leader to head Compound Logistics in Beerse, Belgium. Drive inventory, storage, and global fulfillment to enable research programs, while advancing automation and lean initiatives.

Collaborate across DTMP, R&D, and external partners to deliver scalable capabilities for drug discovery. Lead a high-performing team, mentor talent, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in compound logistics, sample management, laboratory automation, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex operational environments.
• Experience aligning local operations with global priorities within a matrixed environment.
• Experience driving Lean, automation, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Compound Logistics capability in Beerse across inventory, storage, distribution, and fulfillment.
• Manage capacity, budgets, and resources to deliver scalable, compliant services for global discovery programs.
• Drive automation, digital tech, analytics, and process optimization to improve productivity and quality.
• Foster continuous improvement with Lean, data-driven decisions and performance management.
• Build partnerships across Biology, Chemistry, Screening, Informatics, Procurement, and external collaborators.
