ITS Group Benelux seeks a Senior IT Strategy & Transformation Manager with a strong technical background to guide strategic technology decisions in a large, complex IT organization in Belgium. The role combines hands‑on experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, IT Analysis or Tech Leadership with later IT Strategy, CIO Advisory or transversal transformation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional IT experience.
• Strong background in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, IT Analysis, Tech Lead or equivalent roles.
• Subsequent experience in IT Strategy, CIO Advisory, Strategy Office, Chief of Staff or IT Strategy Consulting.
• Solid understanding of modern tech: Cloud, API-led connectivity, legacy modernization, data architectures, DevSecOps, AI/Agentic AI, cybersecurity.

We are looking for a Senior IT Strategy & Transformation Manager with a strong technical background to support strategic technology decision-making within a large and complex IT organization.

The ideal candidate combines hands‑on experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, IT Analysis or Technical Leadership with subsequent experience in IT Strategy, CIO Advisory or transversal transformation.

This is not a traditional Project Manager position. The role requires someone who can quickly understand complex technology challenges, structure ambiguous topics and turn them into clear, pragmatic and actionable recommendations for executive management.

• Support senior IT leadership on critical technology and transformation topics.

• Assess and contribute to topics such as legacy modernization, application rationalization and cross-border IT transformation.
• Build strategic scenarios, roadmaps and recommendations under fixed timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional groups of architects, technical experts and business stakeholders.
• Challenge technical proposals while maintaining an enterprise-wide strategic perspective.
• Facilitate alignment across complex matrix organizations.
• Prepare high-quality executive presentations, decision papers and strategic memos.
• Drive recommendations from initial analysis through stakeholder alignment and executive decision-making.
• Focus on pragmatic outcomes and business value rather than overly theoretical analysis

Mandatory

• 10+ years of professional IT experience.
• Strong previous experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, IT Analysis, Tech Lead or equivalent technical roles.
• Subsequent experience in IT Strategy, CIO Advisory, Strategy Office, Chief of Staff or IT Strategy Consulting.
• Strong understanding of modern technology environments, including:
  • Cloud computing
  • API-led connectivity
  • Legacy modernization
  • Data architectures
  • DevSecOps
  • AI / Agentic AI
  • Cybersecurity challenges
• Excellent executive communication and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Nice to have

• Banking or Financial Services experience.
• Knowledge of core banking, payments, digital channels and regulatory environments.
• Experience working on international or cross-border IT transformation initiatives.

Languages

• Fluent/professional English
• Good command of French and/or Dutch
