In4Matic in Brussels is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our technical team and own infrastructure initiatives from analysis through implementation, helping optimize platforms and resolve complex problems.

You will collaborate with infrastructure architects and support teams, produce clear technical documentation, map dependencies, and drive projects with a practical, solution‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft IIS.
• Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS/TLS/DNS in web architectures.
• Experience with load balancers, reverse proxies, and network components used in web platforms.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate technical documentation.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsabilités

• Deliver strategic infrastructure projects from requirements analysis to implementation.
• Identify opportunities to optimize platforms and translate recommendations into practical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation including architecture guidelines and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve major incidents with the support team.
• Perform root cause analyses and develop sustainable fixes.
• Map complex dependencies, data flows, and interactions across infrastructure and web platforms.
• Plan and coordinate project activities ensuring progress and quality.
• Follow technology developments and advise on future directions.
