Job summary

In4Matic is seeking an experienced .NET Architect to lead architecture across a portfolio of complex applications, guide senior developers, and modernize the landscape toward cloud-ready, Kubernetes-oriented targets.

English is mandatory with Dutch or French knowledge welcome. On-site presence is required 2 days per week in Belgium, with the remaining days remote. Non-EU candidates must hold a valid work permit and residence permit.

Qualifications

• Strong background as a .NET Architect with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C#, .NET 10, and .NET 4.x.
• Knowledge of Blazor frontend development.
• Experience with SQL and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Hangfire and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with clean architecture principles.
• Knowledge of NServiceBus and Dapr is an advantage.
• Experience working on microservices-based products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of one or more domain areas within the portfolio.
• Support and guide experienced Full Stack .NET developers on architecture and design decisions.
• Contribute to the maintenance and support of an existing application environment.
• Help modernize applications and migrate services to newer .NET versions.
• Contribute to the evolution of the architecture toward a Kubernetes-oriented target state.
• Work within a Scrum environment and help coordinate technical work across multiple development teams during sprints.
• Challenge technical choices, features, and implementation approaches with developers, tech leads, and product stakeholders.
• Organize collaborative technical sessions and provide clear explanations of technical topics to non-technical audiences.
