SOFICO is seeking a Senior Go Backend Engineer to design and evolve the Miles Enterprise backend. You will build reliable services in Go, contribute to configuration management, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the enterprise.

You will work in a hybrid setup from Ghent, with exposure to a global engineering community and opportunities to grow through structured onboarding and coaching.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with Go and 2+ years professional Go work.
• Proven design and implementation of REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with automated testing and relational databases.
• Fluent English and ownership mindset; interest in AI-assisted tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Go-based backend services with emphasis on reliability and performance.
• Lead design of configuration management and self-service tooling for Miles Enterprise.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and engineers to translate complex requirements into robust solutions.
• Take ownership of backend engineering challenges across the Miles Enterprise platform.
