Job summary

Pauwels Consulting in Brussels is seeking a senior geospatial technical expert to join the geospatial product team.

You will bridge business needs and technology, act as the technical reference, and own the design, integration and maintenance of strategic software products. The role requires ArcGIS Enterprise/Online/Pro experience, Azure, .NET and modern cloud/container skills, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

8+ years in GIS solution design and operation within Esri ArcGIS ecosystem.
5+ years in solution architecture, including functional design, data modelling, and fit-gap analysis.
Experience with geospatial data integration and automation using FME.
Hands-on with .NET and SQL Server; Azure cloud experience.
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead for the product lifecycle and own technical aspects of solutions.
Translate business requirements into functional/technical specs and challenge workflows.
Lead implementation and configuration of geospatial products and components.
Oversee build and deployment using modern cloud and backend technologies.
Coordinate with internal platforms and external suppliers on security and standards.
Perform evaluations and fit-gap analyses during software selection.
