Pauwels Consulting seeks a geospatial data specialist to oversee address data and geospatial systems for large-scale infrastructure projects in Brussels. The role focuses on data integrity across deployment phases, automating reporting, and developing scripts to optimize engineering workflows.

You will work with SQL, Python, FME, and QGIS, ensuring data quality and documenting workflows while collaborating with teams and partners. Hybrid work with site visits in Brussels is offered.

Qualifikationen

• You have 5+ years in data analysis, data quality, or data engineering within geospatial context.
• You possess advanced SQL skills for complex queries and reconciliation.
• You bring Python and pandas scripting for data processing and automation.
• You know geospatial data, coordinates, spatial joins, and QGIS workflows.
• You have ETL experience with FME or similar tools.
• You hold a Bachelor or Master in Geomatics, GIS, Data Science, or Engineering.
• You are autonomous, proactive, and able to triage based on impact.
• You are meticulous with address and geometry data and document processes.

Aufgaben

• Oversee end-to-end address lifecycle and ensure data consistency across inventories.
• Develop and validate build lists for deployment areas by reconciling data sources.
• Maintain high data quality with pre-submission checks and corrections.
• Build and reconcile databases for infrastructure assets (poles, registers).
• Automate regulatory reporting processes for reliable submissions.
• Create validation rules and scripts using geospatial tools to support design engineering.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to document workflows.
