ACENSI is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst for a Brussels-based engagement in the energy sector. You will analyze business needs, drive functional design, and coordinate end-to-end testing across multiple teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

You will work closely with developers and project managers, applying UML and Enterprise Architect, validating solutions with business stakeholders, and providing second-line support when incidents arise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a functional analyst.
• Fluent in French or Dutch with a good knowledge of the other national language.
• Proven experience coordinating testing across business, functional analysts, developers and project managers.
• Proven experience designing and executing test scenarios.
• Proven experience in E2E testing and test coordination – 5 years, Senior
• Proven experience in requirement analysis.
• Proven experience with incident/problem analysis and second-line support.
• Proven experience with Jira.
• Proven experience with SQL queries for functional or incident analysis.
• Proven experience with the energy market regulation MIG/UMIG processes – 5 years, Senior.
• Proven experience with the scrum methodology.
• Proven experience with XML/message validation.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the evolution of applications; analyze business needs and organise workshops to explain solutions and reach consensus.
• Determine solutions aligned with IT architecture; validate with the business; document in a functional design.
• Follow the development cycle; perform needs and functional analysis using UML and Enterprise Architect; check proposed solutions.
• Ensure quality of deliverables; lead test phases and maintain reference documentation.
• Coordinate, develop and execute test plans to deliver high quality applications.
• Manage applications together with developers and coordinate across teams.
• Evaluate, analyze and document identified bugs; monitor resolution.
• Provide second-line support during incidents and problem management.
