Pauwels Consulting in Brussels is seeking a senior Functional Analyst to support energy transition initiatives. You will analyze business requirements, design end-to-end solutions, and liaise between stakeholders and development partners to deliver aligned IT solutions.

You will monitor development cycles using UML/Enterprise Architect, design test plans and UAT, and coordinate incidents and bug tracking. The role blends analysis, architecture, and practical testing in a hybrid Brussels setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a functional analyst with a focus on requirement analysis and E2E delivery.
• Experience with API-based application integration and Cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in UML and BPMN process modelling.
• Experience with web-based digital platforms and mobile applications.
• Experience designing test plans, test cases, and coordinating UAT.
• Ability to facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent in French or Dutch with good knowledge of the other national language.

Responsabilités

• Analyze business requirements and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define and reach consensus on functional solutions.
• Design end-to-end solutions aligned with IT architecture covering the full application and technology chain.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional designs and act as a liaison between stakeholders and development partners.
• Monitor the development cycle using UML and Enterprise Architect to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Coordinate and execute comprehensive test plans, including UAT, to ensure high-quality production deliverables.
• Manage the application lifecycle and provide second-line support for incident resolution and bug tracking.
