DEME is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to strengthen our internal development team. You will contribute to a wide range of business-critical applications, balancing the maintenance and modernization of existing systems with the development of new solutions.

While the position has a strong backend focus, you are comfortable working across the full application lifecycle, from backend and frontend development to deployment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software development in a .NET environment.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET (.NET Core / .NET) and ASP.NET.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with React and/or Blazor.
• Familiarity with WPF or WinForms, or willingness to modernize legacy apps.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of Azure, containers (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes) or cloud-native dev is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using .NET and modern web technologies.

• Support, maintain and modernize existing legacy applications while helping define future migration paths.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from analysis and development through testing, deployment and support.
• Contribute to application architecture and technical decision-making.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, source control and modern software engineering practices.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews and documentation.
• Explore and apply modern development practices, including AI-assisted development and emerging technologies, where they add value.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues across teams.

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development within a .NET environment.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET (.NET Core / .NET) and ASP.NET.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with React and/or Blazor.
• Familiarity with WPF or WinForms, or willingness to work with and modernize legacy applications.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of Azure, containerization technologies (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes) or cloud-native development is a plus.
• Interest in modern software development practices and emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
• Interest in architecture, technical direction and continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
