Job summary

MSF OCB (Operational Centre Brussels) is seeking an Emergency Coordinator to lead field responses across crises, coordinating strategy with the E-Pool and other departments. The role involves monitoring operations, logistics, HR and finance, and reporting to the Emergency Pool Coordinator.

Based in Brussels, you will travel 3–4 times per year for 2–4 weeks per trip, develop emergency interventions, and support senior management while ensuring donor reporting and compliance with MSF principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years MSF experience in senior management roles.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of an emergency (first line coordinator) and develop medical strategy with the Medical Emergency Coordinator.
• Coordinate emergency-related activities with MSF Operational Centres and Emergency Desks.
• Prepare activity and financial reports and donor updates.
