Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium is seeking an Emergency Pool Mobile Country Mental Health Activity Manager (MHAM) to lead MHPSS activities in crisis contexts. The role oversees deployment across emergency operations and collaborates with E-Pool and MH Referents to implement psychosocial support strategies.

Requirements include a clinical psychology or psychiatry background with a master’s degree, at least two years NGO experience (MSF preferred), and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• Qualified clinical psychologist or psychiatrist with master’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years international NGO experience, including at least one MSF experience as Mental Health Activity Manager.
• Emergency response experience is a strong asset.
• Experience in capacity building (training, supervising, coaching).
• Proficiency in English and French, both written & spoken is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Define, support and monitor implementation of MHPSS activities in emergency contexts.
• Support capacity building and development of MHPSS human resources in the field.
• Contribute to improving monitoring and evaluation of MHPSS activities and outcomes.
• Ensure good coordination and continuation of care in the projects.
• Collaboration and teamwork with MH Referents and project teams.
