Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Liege, Belgium to strengthen the R&D team working on advanced imaging systems. You will design, implement, and optimise embedded software close to hardware, with a focus on low-level firmware and bare-metal development.
You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers across the product lifecycle, leveraging C/C++ for STM32 and similar MCUs, and contributing to architecture and performance improvements in a
Qualifications
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience with microcontroller development.
- Experience with bare-metal / firmware development.
- Experience with STM32 or similar MCUs.
- French-speaking preferred.
Responsabilités
- Design, develop and maintain embedded software and firmware using C/C++.
- Develop software for STM32 and other microcontroller-based platforms.
- Work on bare-metal and low-level embedded development.
- Develop and integrate firmware with electronic hardware.
- Work closely with hardware engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Debug and troubleshoot software at both hardware and firmware level.
- Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions.
- Optimise embedded software for performance, reliability and resource constraints.
- Support hardware/software integration and validation.
- Contribute to the development of new and existing imaging technologies.
