Vivid Resourcing near Liège, Belgium is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a drone technology company developing unmanned aerial systems. You will design, develop and maintain embedded software for sophisticated drone platforms, collaborating with hardware and systems engineers to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
The role requires strong C and C++ skills, experience with Embedded Linux and RTOS, and fluency in French with good English.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong commercial experience developing embedded software.
- Excellent knowledge of C and C++.
- Experience with Embedded Linux and RTOS environments.
- Familiarity with embedded communication protocols.
Responsabilités
- Design and develop embedded software for drone platforms and onboard systems.
- Develop features in C and modern C++ for real-time operation.
- Work on embedded Linux and real-time environments.
- Develop software for communication interfaces and peripheral devices.
- Collaborate with electronics, hardware, and systems teams.
- Debug, test, and optimise for performance, reliability and safety.
- Participate in software architecture discussions and code reviews.
- Support integration, validation and field testing of embedded systems.
