Elia Group is seeking a Technical Designer E&I Standards in a hybrid role in Belgium. You will design and check standard electrical diagrams, monitor supplier drawings and participate in FAT tests, coordinating with manufacturers to ensure compliant, documented designs.

You will bring an electrical engineering degree with 5+ years in facilities, protection or automation, plus strong AutoCAD and Windows Office skills, and fluency in Dutch/French with English.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Min 5 years experience in electrical facilities, protection or automation
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French with good English
• Knowledge of industry standards and schematics
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in E&I standards

Responsabilités

• Check and design standard schematic diagrams for Elia investment projects
• Monitor manufacturer diagrams from suppliers
• Participate in acceptance tests of electrical equipment at manufacturers' premises
• Draw up standard schematic diagrams from design notes and standards
• Manage own schedule in line with priorities and deliverables
