Elia Group is seeking an E&I Designer within the Grid Expertise & Standards – Secondary Systems – Design & Typicals team in Brussels. You will help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient high‑voltage system operation by designing standard schematics, validating supplier plans, and adapting Excel/VBA tools to support investment projects.
Ideal candidates bring an associate/bachelor in electricity, electronics, or automation, strong AutoCAD skills, and fluency in Dutch or French with good English
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in electricity, electronics or automation
- Strong AutoCAD and Windows Office skills
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French; proficient English for international contacts
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise
- Customer-focused, team-oriented and proactive
Responsabilités
- Check suppliers' standard plans and designs (typicals)
- Participate in FATs for electrical equipment when needed
- Design standard schematic diagrams in AutoCAD from supplier plans
- Create and maintain standard schematics per design notes and standards
- Manage own schedule aligned with priorities and deliverables
- Update macros/VBA tools in Excel and develop related tools
