Elia Group in Belgium invites you to join the Settings & Interfaces team to strengthen protection, automation and control systems across the high-voltage grid. You will configure and validate IEDs, adapt standards and support FAT, with a focus on reliability, safety and ongoing grid modernization.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in protection or commissioning, strong analytical skills, and fluency in French or Dutch, with English a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in electrical protection, commissioning or similar activities.
• Knowledge of protection software and systems is advantageous.
• Analytical mind with ability to tackle complex technical issues.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Excellent communication and willingness to learn and share knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Configure IEDs in protection cabinets from electrical and logic diagrams.
• Adapt and customize configuration standards for HV grid applications.
• Conduct quality checks against protection concepts defined by Elia.
• Participate in FATs and support factory/on-site testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards.
