Capgemini Engineering in Belgium is seeking an Electrical Designer to translate supplier design data into standardized, audit-ready documentation. You will convert legacy drawings to EPLAN projects, ensuring IEC 60204-1, IEC 61439, and IEC 81346 compliance and maintaining version control.

The role involves reducing backlogs, collaborating with engineers across disciplines, and applying strong analytical skills to create robust electrical design packages for production lines and automation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in related field.
Proven experience with EPLAN Electric P8.
Knowledge of IEC 60204-1, IEC 61439 and IEC 81346.
Experience converting legacy drawings from AutoCAD and PDFs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

Review, redraw, and standardize electrical design packages from suppliers.
Convert legacy drawings into EPLAN projects using templates and symbol libraries.
Ensure documentation complies with IEC standards and internal guidelines.
Reduce electrical design backlog while maintaining traceability and version control.
Collaborate with electrical, automation, and validation teams to standardize designs.
