Elia Belgium, part of Elia Group, seeks an experienced LV draftsperson to manage and update as-built plans across substations in southern Belgium. You will ensure quality, collaborate with field staff and stakeholders, and apply standard drawing methodologies and ProjectWise processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of drafting experience, a degree in electricity/electromechanics, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Willingness to travel within Belgium is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a draftsperson.
• Bachelor’s degree or secondary education diploma in electricity or electromechanics, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD drawing software.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
• Team spirit, flexibility, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a strong customer orientation.
• Open to change and constantly seek to improve processes.
• Sense of responsibility, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and pragmatism.
• Experience as LV draftsperson and knowledge of LV/ProjectWise is an asset.
• French speaker with knowledge of a second national language, or willing to learn it.
• Willing to travel to Elia substations in Belgium (southern region).

Responsabilités

• Managing plans after an infrastructure project and updating As-built LV plans according to standards and norms.
• Updating As-built LV plans after receiving redlining or works by technicians.
• Performing quality control on LV plans to ensure quality.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee process compliance.
• Working closely with field staff.
• Participating in cross-functional groups to adopt feedback and developments (digitalisation, IT tools, AI).
• Monitoring and adhering to schedules.
• Applying LV drawing methodology in coherence with other disciplines.
• Applying current processes and procedures (ProjectWise).
• Archiving and administratively managing plans and metadata in ProjectWise.
