Job summary

Mobile Locker NV in Belgium is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and operate robust CI/CD pipelines and scalable Linux-based infrastructure. You will automate with Ansible and Proxmox, work with Docker and container orchestration, and ensure security, reliability and observability across environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or similar
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization concepts
• Experience with automation/configuration management (Ansible or similar)
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and scalability
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Able to work 2 days/week in Zaventem, Belgium without visa sponsorship

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Mobile Locker, you will:

• Set up and maintain physical servers and switches in data center environments.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure across Linux-based environments.
• Automate configuration, provisioning, and deployments with Ansible and Proxmox.
• Work with Docker (and automated container orchestration) to build secure and scalable environments.
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and monitoring using industry standardized tools
• Collaborate closely with the lead architect and developers to enable efficient and consistent delivery.
• Improve infrastructure security and compliance practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions regarding scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance.
• Drive continuous improvement by researching and adopting modern DevOps tools and methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization concepts.
• Experience with automation/configuration management (Ansible or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
