Job summary

Mobile Locker NV in Belgium is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and operate robust CI/CD pipelines and scalable Linux-based infrastructure. You will automate with Ansible and Proxmox, work with Docker and container orchestration, and ensure security, reliability and observability across environments.

You’ll collaborate with the lead architect and developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and enjoy flexible hybrid work options with a competitive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or similar
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization concepts
• Experience with automation/configuration management (Ansible or similar)
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and scalability
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Able to work 2 days/week in Zaventem, Belgium without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain servers and switches in data center environments
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) for reliable deployments
• Manage and optimize Linux-based infrastructure
• Automate configuration, provisioning, and deployments with Ansible and Proxmox
• Work with Docker and container orchestration to build secure, scalable environments
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and monitoring
• Collaborate with lead architect and developers to enable efficient delivery
• Improve infrastructure security and compliance practices
• Contribute to architectural decisions regarding scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance
• Drive continuous improvement by adopting modern DevOps tools and methodologies
