WLG in Mons, Belgium, seeks a senior, hands-on cyber security engineer to deliver capabilities end to end: plan changes, build and test, and hand over to operations on site with occasional travel.

You will install, configure and tune security tooling, validate configurations on Cisco, Juniper, Linux and Windows, and document handover with guides and training. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on cyber security engineering.
• Broad knowledge of boundary protection: firewalls, IDS/IPS, traffic aggregation, data diodes, encryption, identity and access management.
• Recent experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, web proxies, Splunk, Tenable.SC, Nessus, Fidelis.

Responsabilités

• Plan deliveries by writing designs and change requests and steering them through approval with project managers, engineers and operational stakeholders.
• Install, configure and test network tapping and aggregation equipment.
• Deploy and tune vulnerability assessment, forensics and monitoring tools.
• Apply and validate security settings on Cisco and Juniper kit and on Linux and Windows systems.
• Investigate faults and performance problems and put improvements in place.
• Run tests and acceptance, document what was built, and hand over to operations with guides, baselines and training.
• Advise on security architecture, tool configuration and integration.
