WLG in Mons, Belgium, seeks a firewall specialist to join a small security team. The role is platform-focused and rewards automation, scripting and well-documented changes.

You will build, install and configure NGFWs, manage central policies, maintain signatures, and respond to tickets within four hours for normal events and one hour for high alerts, on site in Mons. Logging and SOP maintenance are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Firewall administration experience on NGFW platforms.
• Strong networking knowledge and familiarity with security tooling.
• Scripting for automation of routine administration.
• Professional English, spoken and written.

Responsabilités

• Build, install and configure next-generation firewalls with central management and templates.
• Configure high availability, time/name resolution, and keep software and threat signatures current.
• Implement and adapt firewall rulesets and policies as requirements change.
• Work the ticket queue to target four hours for normal events and one hour for high/critical, via phone, mail and chat.
