WLG in Mons, Belgium, seeks a senior engineer to design, build and prove deployable communications infrastructure in a DevOps environment. You will lead technical support teams through exercises and document how everything works.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with field communications experience and a strong DevOps practice in automation and monitoring. It is a full-time onsite position from September to December 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant experience in field communications.
• Deployable or field communications infrastructure experience.
• Genuine DevOps practice: automation and monitoring with continuous change.
• Seniority to lead a support team through an exercise and act as final escalation.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical contribution to design, development and execution of deployable comms projects.
• Work in a DevOps environment with CI/CD and automated deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor junior team members during incidents, service requests and problem management.
• Provide engineering support to plan and execute exercises, on site or remotely.
• Document designs, implementations and troubleshooting guides for services owned.
• Plan and lead technical support teams for projects and exercises.
• Give on-the-job training to maintain sharp support capability.
• Deputise for higher-grade staff when required.
