Job summary

BESIX Group seeks a Senior Cost Controller to strengthen our Finance team for Belgium & Luxembourg. You will ensure accurate project reporting, support project management teams, and provide financial expertise across the project lifecycle, mainly for Wallonia and Luxembourg (about 80%), with office days at the Brussels headquarters (around 20%).

The role requires a Master’s degree in Finance or related field, at least 5 years in cost control or project controlling, strong analytics, and fluency

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cost control, project controlling, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly cost control and reporting for assigned projects.
• Analyze project performance; identify risks, opportunities, and challenge financial assumptions.
• Review and validate cost control data with Project Managers and operations.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information and reports.
• Provide timely financial insights and performance analyses to project teams.
• Act as a business partner to project teams and communicate finance data clearly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cost control processes and tools.
