Job summary

BESIX is seeking a Senior Cost Controller for Wallonia and Luxembourg, combining on-site and Brussels-based work (approximately 80/20). You will ensure accurate project reporting, support project management, and provide financial expertise throughout the lifecycle.

The role focuses on complex projects across Belgium and Luxembourg with potential collaboration across international teams. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Finance or related field, have at least 5 years’ cost control experience,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cost control, project controlling, audit, finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly cost control and reporting for assigned projects.
• Analyse project performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Review cost data with Project Managers and teams.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information and reports.
• Provide timely financial insights and analyses to project teams.
• Act as business partner for project teams and communicate data effectively.
• Contribute to improving cost control processes and tools.
• Present financial analyses and recommendations to the Cost Control Manager.
