BDO Belgium is seeking a Senior Consultant Strategy & Transformation – Invest to guide financial institutions in transforming investment products, customer journeys, and regulatory processes. You will work with product owners, stakeholders and agile squads to analyze requirements, design solutions and support implementation from ideation to go-live.

A week in the life involves analyzing regulatory requirements, assessing impacts, leading change activities, engaging stakeholders, and reporting

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, investments or regulatory topics.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with good prioritization.

Responsabilités

• Analyse requirements in investment products, regulatory topics (e.g., MIFID, ESG, PRIIPS, SRD) and translate into functional needs.
• Assess operational, organizational, and IT impacts of proposed changes and prepare information for development teams.
• Lead change activities and support stakeholders during launch, go-to-market and IT releases.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Compliance, Operations) to gather and validate needs.
• Participate in steering committees and Agile ceremonies where applicable.
• Report progress and risks to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

How you make it count

As a Senior Consultant Strategy & Transformation within our Invest capability, you guide leading financial institutions in transforming their investment products, customer journeys, and regulatory processes. You work closely with product owners, stakeholders and agile squads to analyse requirements, design solutions and support implementation from ideation to go‑live.

A week in the life of a Senior Consultant might look like this:

• Analyse business, regulatory and legal requirements related to investment products (MIFID, ESG, PRIIPS, SRD, …) and translate them into clear functional needs.
• Assess the operational, organizational, and IT impacts of the proposed changes.Prepare all required information for development teams, ensuring clarity, quality and accuracy of the scope.
• Lead change activities, supporting stakeholders during launch, go‑to‑market and IT releases.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Compliance, Operations) to gather, challenge and validate needs.
• Participate in steering committees and Agile ceremonies (where applicable).
• Report regularly on progress and risks to different levels within the organisation.
