BDO invites a Manager Finance Transformation to lead change and deliver results for clients in finance. You will partner with stakeholders to understand objectives and implement strategies that drive sustainable growth in a warm, collaborative environment.

You will drive transformation projects, support ERP rollouts (SAP, Oracle, Workday), develop thought leadership, and foster client relationships. A 5–8 year background in finance transformation, a Master’s degree, and fluent Dutch or French

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in finance transformation consulting.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Native level Dutch or French and very good knowledge of the other language, complemented with profound English skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and management reporting, with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing more junior profiles and developing talent.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of supporting business development, including lead generation and proposal development.
• Transversal core consulting skills such as project management, problem-solving, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with the implementation of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with clients: Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop business strategies: Create and execute development strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.
• Design and implement initiatives: Lead the design and implementation of finance transformation initiatives aligned with clients' strategic priorities and regulatory requirements, including IFRS and Sustainable Finance (i.e. EU Taxonomy, CSRD, etc.)
• Assess, diagnose, and recommend: Conduct assessments, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions to enhance finance processes, systems, data, and organization.
• Support ERP implementations: Assist in the implementation of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) to streamline finance operations and enhance data analytics with solutions such as AnaPlan or Tagetik.
• Thought leadership: Develop thought leadership content, methodologies, and tools to differentiate the practice and enhance its value proposition.
• Build relationships: Foster relationships with external partners and leverage BDO's network to stay abreast of trends and innovations in finance transformation.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues from various Business Practices to create a real impact for our clients.

What do you bring to the table?

• Relevant experience: 5-8 years of experience in finance transformation consulting, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Educational background: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Language proficiency: Native level in Dutch or French and very good knowledge of the other language, complemented with profound English skills.
• Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and management reporting, with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
