Job summary

BDO Antwerp is seeking a Senior Consultant Accountancy to independently manage client accounts and transform financial data into actionable insights. You’ll work with managers and partners, visiting clients regularly and guiding them from A to Z.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accountancy/Finance, at least 2 years of accounting experience, Dutch and English fluency, ITAA certification a plus, and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics.
• At least 2 years of significant accounting experience with solid technical skills.
• ITAA certification is a plus (we’ll support your journey).
• Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage various client accounts.
• Offer personalised and pragmatic financial advice through regular visits.
• Update clients’ financial results, prepare interim balance sheets, manage VAT returns, and compile annual financial statements and tax returns.
• Develop future talent by mentoring junior colleagues while building leadership skills.
