Job summary

John Sisk & Son invites applications for a Senior Project Manager to lead large, technically challenging projects. You will report to the Project/Regional Director and oversee planning, coordination and delivery in line with the Sisk strategy.

You will manage safety, environmental, quality and project profit, maintain client relations, coordinate the supply chain, and ensure work complies with safety policies. The role also emphasizes flexible and remote working where possible.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in construction management with a national/regional contractor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate trades and manage site logistics.
• HSE-focused with relevant safety qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor key stage programmes.
• Set up the site and maintain site security.
• Take possession of the site, plan and coordinate trades activities.
• Apply for temporary service connections.
• Interpret drawings and communicate directions to site personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure method statements and risk assessments are completed for high-risk activities.
• Request information from the professional team and confirm verbal instructions.
• Assist with approvals to progress the project (e.g., hoarding licence).
• Review buildability and identify construction methods with programme or commercial advantages.
• Implement environmental controls with the Environmental Co-ordinator.
• Attend site meetings and circulate notes and actions.
