Robert Half Talent Acquisitions in Brussels seeks a Senior Lawyer (Counsel / Partner level) specializing in Construction Law for a permanent role.

You will lead the strategic development of the Construction practice, advise on complex disputes and public procurement matters, grow client relationships, mentor lawyers and contribute to industry leadership.

Fluent French is essential with strong English and Dutch; a Master in Belgian Law or LL.M. in Construction Law is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a lawyer, with a recognised expertise in construction law.
• Extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution relating to construction law and litigation.
• Proven ability to handle sophisticated and strategic client matters autonomously.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in developing a practice and expanding client relationships.
• French Native (or equivalent) + Excellent command of English + Good professional command of Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Advising clients on complex and high-stakes dispute resolution and litigation cases relating to construction projects and public procurement contracts.
• Advising contractors, developers, public authorities, engineering firms and investors on contractual, regulatory and risk management issues.
• Developing and expanding the firm's Construction practice within the French-speaking Belgian market.
• Managing and growing client relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Contributing to the firm's visibility through publications, conferences, seminars and industry events.
• Mentoring, coaching and supervising lawyers.
• Taking an active role in the leadership and strategic development of the practice.
