Scale Law, an established Belgian law firm, seeks a Senior Construction Contracts Lawyer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join its Antwerp/Brussels practice. You will draft, review and negotiate (inter)national construction contracts (FIDIC/NEC), assist in disputes, and guide clients through pre-construction to post-completion phases while mentoring junior colleagues.

You will work closely with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university.
• Native Dutch speaker with good command of English and basic French.
• 5–8 years experience in construction law and (inter)national contracts.
• Knowledge of FIDIC and/or NEC contracts is an advantage.
• Strong communication, client-focused and independent case management.
• Team player with interest in mentoring juniors.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review and negotiate construction contracts for (inter)national and industrial projects (FIDIC/NEC).
• Assist clients in disputes arising from such projects, in and out of court.
• Advise clients throughout pre-construction, execution and post-completion stages.
• Work independently on complex cases and mentor junior colleagues.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing and training within the practice group.
