Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across commercial projects. The role focuses on compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, hazard identification, and incident reduction in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

The position requires 5+ years of continuous construction safety experience and a BS in EH&S or related field, with preferred CSP certification and bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Broad EH&S knowledge including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, environmental laws and health and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead safety teams and deliver training to staff and contractors.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs to comply with OSHA standards and environmental laws.
• Monitor regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify safety hazards and environmental impacts.
• Develop and deliver safety and environmental training programs for employees.
• Maintain records of injuries, incidents, and safety training for audits.
• Collaborate with management to integrate EH&S practices into operations.
• Coordinate audits, drills, and emergency response planning.

Formation

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety and Health Management, Safety Management, or equivalent
