Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking a compliance professional to operate within a regulated investment environment in Brussels. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the compliance and risk framework, monitor regulatory developments, oversee AML/CFT activities and support regulator interactions in a permanent role.

The role requires a master's degree in Law or Finance and a minimum of 2 years' experience in compliance within a regulated financial services

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Compliance position.
• Experience within an AIFM, investment fund, private equity, asset management or another regulated financial services organisation
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch are valuable assets
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance controls and risk management practices
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and apply evolving regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the compliance and risk framework.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of new regulatory requirements.
• Oversee AML/CFT activities and participate in related control and reporting processes.
• Support interactions with regulators, supervisory authorities and regulatory filings.
• Assess and monitor outsourced service providers and ICT-related risks.
• Provide compliance support across fund operations, including investment monitoring and conflict assessments.
• Participate in regulatory analyses supporting new jurisdictions, fundraising activities and cross-border operations.
