Job summary

Loop is seeking a Compliance Engineer for a freelance/contract engagement (2–3 days/week, minimum six months). The role spans the full product portfolio, focusing on product security, digital compliance, and regulatory alignment across Legal, IT, program and product teams.

Location options include Belgium or the Netherlands, with the current scope emphasizing early compliance integration. The ideal candidate will own the overall compliance picture, translate complex requirements into clear risk

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in the compliance domain.
• Experience with consumer products is required; consumer electronics preferred.
• Ability to understand regulations and translate them into clear business implications.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps and risks in product compliance and translate them into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, program and product teams to ensure compliant development and deployment.
• Define and review compliance plans for new products and expansions.
• Monitor upcoming regulations and assess impact on Loop’s products and markets.
• Provide clear, actionable compliance guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Influence stakeholders and embed compliance early in decision making.
