itsme, a leading digital identity platform in Belgium, seeks a Compliance Specialist to ensure products, services, and operations stay compliant with Belgian and European frameworks. You will translate regulatory requirements into controls and evidence for regulators, auditors, customers and partners.

You will collaborate with experts across Information Security, Privacy and Compliance, lead audits, and support feature implementations to strengthen regulatory posture while communicating clearly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Electronic Identity, Electronic Signatures, Fintech, RegTech, Personal Data Processing, Compliance Assessments, Policy/Process implementations or similar.
• Experience with GRC, compliance automation and/or evidence management platforms.
• Auditor certification in eIDAS, ISO27701, 27001 or similar is a plus.
• Experience applying ETSI ESI Standards in Identity Proofing/Signatures is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Take a pivotal role in the Compliance, Risk and Audit department, working with InfoSec, Privacy and Compliance experts.
• Analyse the impact of new legislation and standards on products, processes and controls.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, controls and supporting evidence.
• Assist product and operational teams with implementing features to meet Belgian/European frameworks.
• Produce assurance reports for management and governance bodies.
• Lead and assist in internal and external audits and provide evidence of compliance.
