Everience Benelux is looking for a highly driven Back-End Java Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives on clean code, stays current with industry trends, and enjoys experimenting with new tools.

You will work across customer-facing apps, API back-ends, and integration layers, bridging robust Java backend development with cloud infrastructure, deployments, and DevOps practices. This role involves designing, building, and delivering modern API services end-to-end, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in a Java Developer role, preferably in Energy or Utilities.
• Strong backend, API, and cloud deployment experience.
• Experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, and microservices.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, document, and release Java features and API services.
• Build scalable backend microservices with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Design cloud-native apps on Azure or AWS; deploy and operate in cloud.
• Manage infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform.
• Package apps with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines or GitLab Actions).
• Collaborate with analysts to resolve incidents and evaluate tech.
• Weekly guard duty and propose modern technologies.
