Everience is seeking a highly driven Back-End Java Cloud Engineer to join a modern, cloud-focused team. You will design and deliver scalable Java backends and API services, bridging software engineering with DevOps to deploy, scale, and manage in the cloud.

The role emphasizes cloud-native architectures on Azure or AWS, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and robust CI/CD practices using Azure Pipelines or GitLab Actions. Fluency in French or Dutch and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in a Java Developer role.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with strong English.
• Experience with cloud-native Java backend and microservices.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, document, and release Java-based features and API services.
• Build scalable backend microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Design cloud-native apps on Azure or AWS; understand deployment in cloud.
• Manage infrastructure with Terraform.
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Improve CI/CD with Azure Pipelines or GitLab Actions.
• Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate with Functional Analysts.
• Participate in guard duty and on-call rotation.
• Propose modern tech to improve performance, reliability, security.
