Vulcain Engineering Group | Belgium is seeking a Civil & Structural QA Engineer to oversee quality assurance for on-site civil and structural works in a major renewable energy facility. You will ensure compliance with project specifications and European standards, coordinating with Construction, Engineering and HSE teams to uphold high quality throughout construction.

The candidate should hold a Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering degree with 10+ years of industrial or infrastructural

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or infrastructural construction projects.
• Proven experience in construction supervision, QA or QC activities.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, reinforced concrete and structural steel.
• Understanding of European construction standards and quality requirements.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong reporting and documentation management skills.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Perform quality inspections and surveillance on civil works, concrete and steel structures on site.
• Verify compliance with project specs, procedures and European standards.
• Participate in inspections, witness points and QC activities during construction.
• Review technical docs, inspection reports and contractor deliverables.
• Identify non-conformities and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, QA and HSE teams on quality requirements.
• Support contractors in implementing QA procedures and inspection plans.
• Prepare inspection reports, dashboards and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of construction quality and site performance.
