Vulcain Engineering Group | Belgium is seeking a Civil & Structural QA Engineer to oversee quality assurance for on-site civil and structural works in a major renewable energy facility. • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or infrastructural construction projects.
• Proven experience in construction supervision, QA or QC activities.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, reinforced concrete and structural steel.
• Understanding of European construction standards and quality requirements.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong reporting and documentation management skills.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.

• Participate in inspections, witness points and QC activities during construction.
• Review technical docs, inspection reports and contractor deliverables.
• Identify non-conformities and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, QA and HSE teams on quality requirements.
• Support contractors in implementing QA procedures and inspection plans.
• Prepare inspection reports, dashboards and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of construction quality and site performance.

As part of our activities in the Renewable Energy sector, we are looking for a Civil & Structural QA Engineer to support the construction of a major industrial renewable energy facility. You will act as the Quality Assurance representative for all civil and structural works performed on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards and quality requirements throughout the construction phase. Working closely with Construction, Engineering and HSE teams, you will play a key role in ensuring that the project is delivered according to the highest quality standards.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Perform quality inspections and surveillance activities on civil works, concrete structures and steel structures executed on site.
• Verify compliance of construction activities with project specifications, approved procedures and applicable European standards.
• Participate in inspections, witness points and quality control activities during construction.
• Review technical documentation, quality records, inspection reports and contractor deliverables.
• Identify, document and follow up non-conformities, ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Quality and HSE teams to ensure alignment on project quality requirements.
• Support contractors and subcontractors in the implementation of quality procedures and inspection plans.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality dashboards and progress updates for project stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to construction quality and site performance.

ABOUT YOU:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or infrastructural construction projects.
• Proven experience in construction supervision, quality assurance or quality control activities.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, reinforced concrete structures and structural steel installations.
• Good understanding of applicable European construction standards and quality requirements.
• Experience working with contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Strong reporting, communication and documentation management skills.
• Professional proficiency in French and English is mandatory.
