Job summary

The European Defence Agency (EDA) in Brussels is seeking a Project Officer for CIS Support to Operations. This temporary agent role focuses on managing the ESM CIS service portfolio, overseeing contracts, and ensuring alignment with user needs within the EU SatCom Market project.

You will liaise with Member States, EU stakeholders, and internal teams to coordinate procurement, reporting, and governance, contributing to CIS service development and mission support in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., CIS, IT, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering).
• At least six years of relevant professional experience after qualification.
• Proven experience in project/programme management in international/public sector.
• Experience in procurement and contract management, with monitoring of contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ESM CIS service portfolio throughout its lifecycle, from requirements to delivery and closure.
• Act as Project Officer for Framework Contracts and Joint Procurement Arrangement contracts; ensure alignment with user needs and EDAs procedures.
• Coordinate procurement activities including tender documentation and evaluations, and ensure compliance with EDA rules.
