act digital is seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Developer to lead back-end development using .NET, Azure, REST APIs, and DevOps practices. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable server-side solutions, contributing to architecture and cloud integration while driving automation and continuous improvement.

The role requires deep expertise in .NET, REST APIs, and cloud-native approaches, with a strong emphasis on DevOps, CI/CD, and agile delivery within a modern development

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional.NET development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and modern.NET versions (.NET 8-10).
• Strong knowledge of microservices, clean architecture and design patterns.
• Hands-on DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and blue/green deployment experience.
• Experience in Azure cloud services (Cosmos DB, Functions, Event Hub).
• Strong Git, Jira and Confluence usage in Agile teams.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Back-End Developer with strong expertise in .NET, Microsoft Azure, REST APIs, and DevOps to join a development team working on modern, scalable applications.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reliable back-end solutions while contributing to software architecture, cloud integration, automation, and continuous improvement of the development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Develop and integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and blob storage.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs.
• Ensure optimal application performance, quality, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and implement effective solutions.
• Contribute to code quality, organization, automation, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with central teams to strengthen and improve DevOps capabilities within development teams.
• Contribute to software architecture and the implementation of modern development practices.
• Work within Agile development environments and collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills

.NET Development

• 10+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Recent hands-on experience with .NET Core and modern .NET versions, including .NET 8–10 or equivalent.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs.
• Experience with modern .NET development practices.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, clean architecture, and design patterns.

Microsoft Azure

• 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and architectures.
• Experience with services such as:
• Azure Event Hub
• Azure Cosmos DB
• Azure Functions
• Other relevant Azure services
• Ability to work on complex cloud-based projects and take responsibility for Azure-based solutions.

DevOps & CI/CD

• 5+ years of experience with DevOps practices.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, including YAML-based pipelines.
• Experience with deployment strategies such as blue/green deployments.
• Experience contributing to the automation and improvement of development and deployment processes.

Databases

• Practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of database usage in transactional and distributed systems.

Testing & Version Control

• Experience implementing unit testing and using relevant testing frameworks.
• Strong practical experience with Git in collaborative development environments.

Development & Collaboration Tools

• Experience with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working within Agile delivery and DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or SAFe.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Professional experience with React.js and front-end development.
• Experience adopting new technologies and frameworks.
• Participation in technology modernization or innovation initiatives.
• Experience using AI-powered IDEs or AI-assisted development tools.

Languages

• English: minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.

Working Model
